In this workshop, children become real audio drama creators! Together, we will invent an exciting story, record different characters, and transform our ideas into a complete audio drama using sound effects, music, and creative editing.
Participants will learn how to use the free audio software Audacity. We will edit recordings, add sounds, and explore how audio effects can create atmosphere and bring scenes to life. From mysterious forest sounds to funny voices and dramatic moments, imagination is the key!
No prior experience is required. All you need is an interest in storytelling, listening, and trying out new things. Our mentors will support you every step of the way.

What you need:

A laptop to work on and your own headphones. If you don't have a laptop, please book an additional computer add-on ticket or send us a message. We'll find a solution!

If you are under 13 years old:

One:n legal guardian to accompany you during the dojo. The guardian also needs a separate ticket. If the combination of tickets your family needs is no longer available, just write us and we'll see if we can find a solution.

Accessibility

All areas of the library in Schöneweide are accessible to people with limited mobility. There is no audio description system. Some doors can be difficult to open.
We generally offer our workshops in German (spoken and written). Almost all mentors also speak English.
If you need support in other languages (e.g., Russian, Arabic) or additional assistance (e.g., screen readers), please let us know. We strive to make our workshops accessible to everyone.

You are also welcome to bring something small to eat/drink. We always try to provide a small buffet.
