Mabon Mother Crone (MMC) Information

Location
3.5 hours north of the bay, between the towns of Leggett and Laytonville in Mendocino County.

Arrival & Departure times
Arrive between Friday, September 18th by Midday (approx.1 pm) and Saturday, September 19th by Early Evening (approx. 4 pm)
Depart on Sunday, September 20th by the Early Evening (approx. 4 pm)

Food
There will be four meals served to campout attendees – Dinner on Friday night, Brunch on Saturday in the late morning, Dinner on Saturday night, and Brunch on Sunday in the late morning. Daily lunch will not be provided, but the ability to boil water will be made accessible to all campout attendees. Please bring snacks and food items to comfortably sustain yourself throughout the weekend.

Camping Conditions
Attendees will be tent camping. An email will be released three weeks out from the event’s start time including more information about how to pack, but please bring the necessary equipment to keep yourself warm, resourced, and comfortable.

Weather Expectations
In September, the average high for the campout location is 82° and the average low is 49°. During the day, attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately for warm to hot weather, and at night attendees should dress for temperate to cool weather.

Disability / Accessibility
There are no paved paths at the campground where MMC will be held. Traveling from the area where people will be camping to any part of the campout (dancefloor, kitchen, showers, or parking lot) is a short hike. Unfortunately, the location of MMC is not particularly accessible and we have limited ability to change that, or to provide additional accessibility. Please feel free to contact campout@envelopesoundsystem.com for any requests concerning accessibility accommodations and we will do what we can to address them.

Fire Risk
Like all events in California that take place outdoors during the summertime, there is a potential risk of wildfires. We have an evacuation plan in case of a possible wildfire and are preparing further disaster preparedness measures to ensure the safety of attendees.

The waitlist will operate until September 4th. All ticket resales after September 4 will be conducted through the “ticket resale” channel via Discord.

A note on volunteering
This campout is a huge labor of love. We all play a role in co-creating this experience. For those interested, there will be a number of different ways to volunteer and help out at the event. Volunteer sign-ups will take place at the door during the check-in process.

Skill Share / Course Offering Proposals
Have a class you want to teach to a group of ravers, transsexuals, perverts, and their conspirators? Want to do some community education, or just lead a group art project? We are looking for interactive ideas which will engage the community of MMC attendees. Pitch us your ideas!

Courses and Skill Shares are scheduled to take place between 12 PM and 5 PM on Saturday the 19th, or before 1 PM on Sunday the 19th.
