BIH Digital Health Forum

🌟 Welcome to the BIH Digital Health Forum January 2024: ChatGPT and Beyond: Opportunities and Challenges of Large Language Models in Medical Contexts

🚀Join us for an in-depth conversation on ChatGPT in digital health at the Berlin Museum of Medical History of the Charité in Berlin!

💡What to Expect:
Large language models, which generate human-like text, have taken the world by storm. ChatGPT is estimated to have reached over 100 million users just two months after its launch, making it the fastest-growing consumer application ever. This talk will discuss how a couple of simple technical ideas enabled such models to become so powerful, and how these lead to both strengths and weaknesses. Can recent natural language processing and multimodal AI models such as PubMedCLIP be made sufficiently useful in medical contexts, e.g. to answer questions about images? How big is the gap between AI research and practically useful medical solutions? This talk will discuss important opportunities as well as risks of this technology.
