This year's Digital GreenTech Conference 2025 will take place on November 25-26, 2025, at the VKU Forum in Berlin.

During the two-day conference, 14 joint projects from the BMFTR funding initiative “Digital GreenTech – Environmental Technology Meets Digitalization” Digital GreenTech – Environmental Technology Meets Digitalization will present their research findings and ideas. These include projects from the application areas of resource efficiency in water, wastewater, and recycling management, environmental monitoring, and sustainable land and infrastructure management. Together with interested members of the public, they will highlight the potential applications of digital technologies for environmental protection and resource conservation and focus on the special features that arise when environmental technology meets computer science. As was the case last year, the Digital GreenTalents awards ceremony Digital GreenTalents award ceremony will once again take place at the Digital GreenTech conference.

Participation in the conference is free of charge.

The conference is organized by the German Informatics Society (GI) as part of the BMFTR funding program “Digital GreenTech – Environmental Technology Meets Digitalization.”
