Johhan Rosenberg - “The Wolf’s Hour”

At the threshold between night and dawn, when there’s no border between material and
immaterial, bodies most often enter and leave the world. Wolf’s Hour explores how
spectatorship operates before interpretation settles into certainty. The work approaches the
audience as an ecology allowing to negotiate between habitual directions and emerging social frictions.

The research investigates collective perception by proposing to build and disrupt systems of
orientation. Attempting to stitch together forms of belonging under pressure, the work asks
what kinds of relation remain possible as the gaze softens and familiar structures loosen.
