In the cyber crisis, all threads come together, almost every company is or was already affected by cyber attacks. How crisis management and IT forensics in cyber attacks looks like and especially how it feels, can be experienced on 02.11.
Especially technical and organizational oriented students should not miss this event.
We Uwe Grams (40 years young) and Vincent Rockenfeld (31 years old) have been on more than 50 cyber crises and helped companies to save them from insolvency.
Uwe the crisis manager (not a techie) has taken business leaders by the hand, spontaneously formed crisis teams, established internal and external crisis communications, set up emergency operating processes and guided stakeholders through this stressful situation.
Vincent the IT forensic expert (definitely a techie!) did thread hunting in the APT environment (government actors), uncovered security vulnerabilities and entry points, traced attack paths, coordinated the complete rebuild of IT infrastructures and was the link between IT and management.
In the first part we will take you into a simulation and show you how the first days of a cyber crisis feel like, how individual roles "should" work together and which classic stumbling blocks occur.
In the second part of the event, we will give you an overview of the overall process of a cyber crisis and how to manage it, using concrete real life examples.
We are looking forward to meeting you
Uwe & Vincent
Please note that the event is in german.
