IREB Community Germany | MeetUp @BettercallPaul Berlin

Today, AI no longer takes over just individual tasks, but also analysis, design, and at times even decisions. That is tempting and risky at the same time. How can we keep understanding the results, trust AI for good reason, and retain responsibility?

At our IREB Community Germany MeetUp at BettercallPaul, you will get two perspectives on this:

From Tool to Partner
Kim Lauenroth, FH Dortmund
A small, practical philosophy for an enlightened approach to AI: drawing on Kant's call to use one's own understanding, and on examples from Requirements Engineering and Digital Design, this talk shows how precise instructions, templates, and traceable structures turn AI into a partner with complementary strengths.

Humans at the Center: Requirements Engineering for AI-Powered Applications
Catherine Heyart, BCxP
A practical report from a current project for a client in the energy sector: a web application uses AI to recognize documents, classify them, and assign them to the right components. The focus is on how users can operate the AI well and trust it, using human in the loop, understandable explanations, and clear process visualization.

And afterwards?
Afterwards, there will be time for questions, discussion, and exchange with the IREB Community.
