The Australian Frank Gambale is one of the world's best guitarists between fusion, jazz and rock. He is best known for his many years of work with Chick Corea, both in the band "Return To Forever" and the "Elektric Band".
In music circles, Gambale is also known for (further) developing the "sweep picking" technique, which - to explain to non-guitarists - allows him to play faster than his own shadow. That's probably where his nickname "Thunder from Down Under" comes from. Gambale has written several guitar instruction books in addition to a whole series of solo albums; however, he always puts his incredible technique at the service of the music and has constantly developed and changed his sound.
With Frank Gambale, one of the world's most important and influential guitarists is finally coming to Ravensburg.
