Vincent Peirani is a jazz musician. World music, classical, chanson, or pop come easily to him. Those who listen to the first album of the Living Being Quintet, "Night Walker," will recognize: Peirani has transformed the accordion into a veritable rock 'n' roll instrument. On this album, the Frenchman shines with his perfectly rehearsed quintet, including furious Led Zeppelin covers and a sound that is unparalleled across genres.

In September 2025, "Living Being IV: Time Reflections" will be released, a work deeply rooted in the musical reflection and exploration of time. The project, consisting of Émile Parisien, Tony Paeleman, Yoann Serra, and Julien Herné, invites listeners to a sonic exploration where each note is shaped by the complexities and nuances of the rhythm of life. Born in the unique context of the early months of the Covid pandemic, this album is the result of a moment of forced pause for Vincent Peirani, a break in his daily routine that led him to meditate on how time shapes our lives and our perception of the world.

When Vincent Peirani says his band wants to be a "Chamber Rock Music Orchestra," it may sound like rock meets classic bombast. However, this Living Being, this powerful beast of a jazz band, is exactly the opposite. A smooth creature that moves elegantly and subtly across any terrain, without ever straying from its path, yet can grow into a muscular carnivore at any moment. "Time Réflections" is thus a mosaic in which the contemporary heartbeat and echoes of traditional dances intersect, while baroque music finds an unexpected and poetic place with a strong wink – as do the hypnotic rhythms of a trance-like reggae.

In Ravensburg, an electro-chamber music spectacle of the finest kind awaits us in the Zehntscheuer. Here, Vincent Peirani and his Living Being Quintet will take the audience on a unique sonic journey that is both profound and captivating.
