Often it is the quietest sounds that linger the longest. The Daniel Stelter Trio has mastered the art of creating a unique atmosphere from subtle nuances and richly narrative soundscapes. For years, Stelter has been one of the most distinguished guitarists on the German scene, both as a solo artist and alongside renowned musicians such as Wolfgang Haffner, Till Brönner, and Al Jarreau. Many also know him from major television productions and through his work with the Heavytones.
Yet beyond all references, it is above all his warm and unmistakable tone on the acoustic guitar that gives this music its character. Together with Michael Paucker on acoustic bass and the highly sensitive drummer Tommy Baldu, he creates a transparent and organic trio sound full of depth, agility, and subtle musical interaction. The compositions breathe, unfold, intensify, and open new spaces: music of quiet strength and remarkable sonic presence.
