In ICH KANN’S NICHT LASSEN (I CAN'T STOP), we do everything differently. Without words, everyone is invited to follow the dancers' movements or suggest their own. The four dancers perform a very special style: Krump, an Afro-diasporic dance culture that emerged in the USA at the turn of the millennium. Krump is a peaceful but powerful rebellion against social inequality and discrimination; for many dancers, Krump is still a place of refuge and a substitute family. The krump community fosters a sense of togetherness; it's about showing yourself and supporting each other. Choreographer Janne Gregor brings this attitude to life on stage so that everyone can experience it: by watching, but also by joining in and copying the moves. The energy comes from the collective action.
