Der Passiflora e.V. & Keller-Klub e.V. präsentieren im Rahmen der Veranstaltungsreihe „Emerald Eggs" das apokalyptische Drone-Folk-Trio Ak’chamel (US) + Support Act im Künstlerkeller!

Ak’chamel aus Texas hat sich einen soliden Ruf als fesselndes Bühnenprojekt erarbeitet. In albtraumhaften Kostümen und bei halluzinatorischen Bühnen-„Ritualen“ ist ihr einzigartiger Sound – eine Mischung aus wüstenverbrannter Psychedelia, postapokalyptischem Schamanismus und Lo-Fi-Ritual-Folk – ebenso einzigartig wie das physische Theater ihrer Live-Auftritte.
Als Urheber von rund fünfzehn Kassetten, drei Vinyl-LPs und mehreren rätselhaften VHS-Videos haben ihre Aufnahmen Millionen von Aufrufen generiert. Sie touren regelmäßig und sind bereits auf großen Festivals auf beiden Seiten des Atlantiks aufgetreten, was ihnen Berichterstattung in Medien wie VICE, Consequence, The Wire und vielen anderen eingebracht hat.
