This workshop – held in English – provides professional users of the visual programming environment with a condensed update about recent developments through expert teachers from Europe and Canada. Our goal is to bring advanced users together and up to speed with new workflows and features, derived from some of the biggest projects on this planet.

A unique opportunity for companies and professionals alike, to get first hand feedback from the derivative team and experienced experts about present and future challenges in the industry as well as to learn about best practices for large scale projects.

The workshop consists of hands-on exercises and project walk-throughs by selected speakers from the field and about a variety of topics relating to new features and techniques.

The Workshop:

A full day program by Markus Heckmann, Tim & Roy Gerritsen, Darien Brito and Wieland Hilker with best practises to build your project, making sure it is optimized, stable and easy adjustable. Topics include: Content creation (Generative Design and Data visualization), Optimized Scene Control, The Engine Comp, Quick internal control, Building user interfaces and more.

The workshop will be supported by Greg Hermanovic (Co-Founder and CEO at Derivative), Isabelle Rousset (Derivative`s Community Manager)
and Stefan Kraus (Co-Founder The Node Institute & MXZEHN)
