Software Carpentries: Programming with MATLAB
This workshop makes part of a three-day Software Carpentry workshop but can be taken on its own. Anyone not familiar with typing commands and navigating filesystems using the command line should first attend The Unix Shell Workshop (book at https://pretix.eu/ncl/).
Designed for scientists and engineers, MATLAB is short for “matrix laboratory.” It is a high-level programming language and platform that works with matrices and arrays rather than individual numbers. The goal of this workshop is to teach best practices for using MATLAB to write programs for performing reproducible analyses.
This is an introduction to programming with MATLAB, designed for researchers and others with no programming experience. You need to understand the concepts of files and directories before attempting this workshop.
