Verehrte und vergessene Meister: Hofmusik der Welfen
Our concert project sheds light on the importance of the composers employed at the House of Welf for European music history. From Heinrich Schütz to Johann Rosenmüller and Carl Heinrich Graun, important composers worked at the House of Welf and influenced each other musically.
Appropriately selected projections of historical images and fragments provide visual and spatial support.
The evening begins with a concert introduction by musicologist Dr. Reinmar Emans.
