Chataigne is a free and open-source software made with one goal in mind: create a common tool for artists, technicians and developers who wish to use technology and synchronize softwares for shows, interactive installations or prototyping. It aims to be as simple as possible for basic interactions, but can be easily extended to create complex interactions.

Whether you're an artist working with interactivity, a VJ wanting to explore new ways of creating, a creative coder or an arduino hobbbyist, this workshop is presenting new ways to create shows and interactive installations.

This session will begin with a talk about the philosophy behind the software and how to use it, followed by a hands-on session, where you will learn the basics of Chataigne and figuring out how it can help your own projects. Bring your computer! The total session will run at most 3 hours.
