Teachings with Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche

We are very happy to welcome Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche for the first time at Dharma Mati Berlin!

Eldest son of renowned Dzogchen master, H.E. Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche, and great-great-grandson of the illustrious Nyingma treasure-finder, Terchen Chokgyur Lingpa, Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche has been teaching audiences worldwide for more than 45 years. Rinpoche is known for his wonderful warmhearted and humorous way of teaching that touches beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

This time, Rinpoche will take us on a journey through the three vehicles of Buddhism, from the basic vehicle of the Shravakayana to the great vehicle of Mahayana and finally to the Vajrayana. Together, we will dive into the view, meditation and conduct of each of these vehicles, as well as the result of practicing them.

Schedule

This event can be booked either as an evening talk (Friday, August 8 from 19:00, with online option) or as the full weekend (Friday, August 8 from 19:00, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 – 17:30, in person only).

About the venue

Dharma Mati is a Tibetan Buddhist Center, a source of peace and quiet nestled in the west of Berlin. It is home to Rigpa Germany, a community that offers the ancient wisdom teachings of the buddha in an open and accessible way. Everyone is welcome to join the open meditations, courses and events on the topics of meditation, compassion, and death and dying.
