Meditation is much more than just a relaxation technique – it transforms how we experience the world. In this retreat, we’ll explore how meditation can help us connect more deeply with ourselves, face our emotions with greater calm, and live more mindfully in our everyday lives.

Whether you’re new to meditation or have some experience, this time together offers the chance to pause and explore your own inner landscape. Drawing from the Dzogchen tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, we approach meditation with the understanding that our minds are naturally clear and open. Wisdom, compassion, and inner peace are already within us – we just need to uncover them.

Through regular practice, we learn to be less controlled by external distractions and the flow of our thoughts. Rather than getting lost in overthinking or emotions, we discover a new way to engage with them – with openness, clarity, and ease. Meditation thus becomes a powerful support in our daily lives.



What to Expect?
Under the guidance of Ian Ives, an experienced meditation teacher in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, we will explore the essence of meditation practice and deepen our understanding through various exercises.

The retreat will cover topics such as:

  • How to mindfully deal with thoughts and emotions
  • The nature of the mind and how it works
  • The elements of a meditation session
  • The connection between body and meditation
  • Ways to integrate meditation into daily life

In addition to guided meditations, there will be time for contemplation, body exercises, sharing, and personal reflection.
