Tendrel: Creating the Conditions for Awakening
One-day workshop with Polu Tulku
What makes a meaningful connection possible? In Tibetan Buddhism, the concept of tendrel points to the interconnected web of causes and conditions through which experiences, relationships, and transformation arise.
Drawing on the teachings of the great Indian philosopher, Nāgārjuna (2nd century CE), this workshop explores tendrel as both a way of understanding reality and a way of transforming our experience. Through contemplation and practical exercises, we will investigate how everything arises in dependence upon conditions—and how recognizing this interdependence opens a path toward greater freedom, clarity, and compassion.
What happens when the right conditions come together? How do intention, attention, connection and practice influence what becomes possible? And how might recognizing interdependence change the way we relate to ourselves, others and the world?
The workshop combines reflection, discussion, and experiential practice, offering an introduction to tendrel and its relevance for meditation and everyday life.
Polu Tulku will teach in English, with German translation.
