Welcome to the Emsland Museum Schloss Clemenswerth

The baroque star-shaped complex of Schloss Clemenswerth and the surrounding green areas are mostly freely accessible and invite you to take a stroll through the historic grounds.

A valid ticket is required to visit the Central Pavilion with its round hall, cabinets, and the private rooms of the Elector, as well as the exhibition pavilions Hildesheim, Paderborn, Clement August, and Coelln.

The castle opens at every full and half hour. Staff escort visitors first to the lower floor and then together to the upper floor, allowing both floors to be viewed. Please note: The staff does not provide an informational tour. For more detailed information, we recommend attending a guided tour or purchasing our current castle guidebook.

Guided tours are generally offered in German. Tours in English or Low German (Plattdeutsch) can be arranged by prior appointment.
