Making Impact Visible – Middle Range Impact Models
Are you designing, funding or supporting social innovations and facing the challenge of presenting their impact in a clear and credible way?
In this online workshop, you will be introduced to the concept of middle range impact models. The approach bridges the gap between general impact indicators and highly organisation-specific impact models. It helps to make visible typical impact logics, key actors and relevant measurement points within fields of innovation, and to use them as transferable “blueprints” for impact analysis.
The workshop is aimed at organisations, networks, funding bodies and other intermediaries engaged in social innovation. In addition to a brief introduction, the main focus will be on exchange and discussion. Together, we will explore how impact can be captured in ways that are more systematic, comparable and, at the same time, practical. We will also address questions of impact attribution, as well as the opportunities and limitations of standardisation.
What to expect:
- An introduction to the concept of mid-range impact models
- An interactive working session on fields of innovation and impact pathways
- Space for questions, discussion and sharing experiences
- The workshop offers an opportunity to gain new perspectives on impact measurement and to jointly develop approaches for practical impact assessment.
