🇳🇱 Zaanse Schans & Amsterdam: Day Escape

On Sunday, 22 November 2026, we’re heading to the Netherlands for a day of windmills, canals, and city life: a shared journey, a morning in Zaanse Schans, and a long afternoon and evening in Amsterdam.

Two sides of the Netherlands in one day.

What’s the vibe?

A shared escape from routine.
We leave together in the morning, explore the windmills at Zaanse Schans, then head to Amsterdam to enjoy the city in our own ways.

Expect:
– Windmills & Dutch countryside
– Amsterdam’s canals, cafés & little streets
– stroopwafels, photos & spontaneous groups
– plenty of time to wander without following a schedule all day

Together at the start. Free to explore (or stay with us). Meet again at the end. 🟣💟🟪

The Plan

• Morning departure from Kamp-Lintfort (main campus)
• Second pick-up in Kleve, near the HSRW campus
• Zaanse Schans: our first stop ... windmills, traditional Dutch houses, and time to wander around and take photos
• Continue to Amsterdam for a short group orientation and plenty of free time to explore the city
• Spend the afternoon and evening in Amsterdam ... canals, cafés, museums, or simply wandering with friends
• Evening return to Kleve & Kamp-Lintfort

Price

€39 – student price

The price covers round-trip coach transport and organisation.
This is a non-profit student trip, organised by students for students.

Booking and payment are completed online through Pretix.

Payment is required to confirm your spot.
Uncompleted reservations will be automatically cancelled after the payment window to free seats for others.

Refunds

• Tickets are non-refundable once booked
• Full refund if the trip is cancelled by us
• You may transfer your ticket to another student up to 24 hours before departure
• If the minimum number of participants is not reached, 100% of your payment will be refunded

Our trips depend on enough students confirming their places in time so we can secure the coach.

The earlier you book, the sooner we can confirm the trip — and the less chance you miss out on one of the available seats.
