From August 21st through August 24th, 2026, you are invited to System Activate II, Patterns of New Growth, a rave in the forest of central Vermont. For our second ecstatic year, System Activate will set up the 42,000 watt LUV NRG Soundsystem in a beautiful hilltop clearing. Our dancefloor, surrounded by pine trees, is the perfect space to celebrate a 3 day rite of the Motherbeat.

The land we are using is private and beautiful, but it is raw real nature. The paths are uneven and there is a trek uphill to reach the dancefloor. There will be no glamping or creature comforts, but there is plenty of campground for everyone, drinkable well water, and porta potties (no showers). You will need a ride to get there—the event site is 2.5 hours from Boston, 3 hours from Montreal and 5 hours from Brooklyn. Each car needs a parking pass, which can be purchased in addition to a ticket. We have arranged a charter bus from NYC to the event site. We strongly encourage folks to carpool & travel in groups up to the site—write friends or post on our discord to organize.

Our preference is that you arrive on Friday before sundown, but everyone must at least arrive no later than noon on Saturday. We have only one stage so that we can all share in the music together. Music will start at 7:30pm on Friday and end around 4 or 5am to give everyone a chance to rest a little before a 24-hour presentation of music that will stretch from Saturday into Sunday morning. Dancing will stop around 7am on Sunday morning allowing for rest or for an immersive deep listening experience with Strategy (live) and Farplane. This block will feature hours of gorgeous drone and ambient for reintegration.

This year, for the first time, we are expanding our Sunday programming, offering a “last dance” from Sunday afternoon into evening. Everyone is invited to spend Sunday night resting on the land and asked to depart by 11am on Monday morning.

There are accessibility issues with this land. The land is raw and only has dirt paths. Getting to the dancefloor requires a trek uphill. We'll have a UTV to help anyone who needs it. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to ask any questions or to make arrangements ahead of time for any particular accessibility needs. We are committed to doing everything we can to make the space accessible for you.

You should bring everything you need with you including food, camping gear, and a water bottle. We will not have alcohol for sale; instead, we’ll have non-alcoholic beverages and Smart Drinks for sale to keep you moving. A safety team will be onsite should you need help for any reason.

This is so important, more important than anything else: if you buy a ticket we take that as a promise to leave the land exactly as you left it. This is a “Leave No Trace” rave. That means no glitter, no feathers, no garbage. What you bring leaves with you and that includes "natural garbage" like fruit cores, rolling paper remains, cigs, etc. Our host asks for this as their main condition of allowing us to use the land, so as a group we need to be vigilant.
