What You Will Learn
Workshop 1 — Intermediate
Giro Paulista Variations. We’ll review the fundamentals of the Giro Paulista and explore different variations, working on possibilities for both leaders and followers and expanding the options within the movement.
Workshop 2 — Intermediate/Advanced
Inverted Pivot Turn. We’ll work on a five-step turn and learn how to execute it using just one leg as a pivot, exploring different possibilities and exits from the movement.
Workshop 3 — Intermediate.
Transforming Five-Step Movements into Giro Paulista. We’ll explore different five-step movements and discover how to transform them using the structure of the Giro Paulista, creating new possibilities.
Workshop 4 — Open Level.
Footwork Variations to Play with Musicality. We’ll play with the Base 2 (open position) and explore different footwork variations, using changes, pauses, and combinations to create new possibilities for musical interpretation.
