In this event, we will discuss topics related to the Digital Economy, Innovation and Competitiveness with representatives of Volt and innovative European start-ups.
At the beginning of the event, Reinier van Lanschot (Member of the European Parliament for Volt) will join us live from Strasbourg and talk about how he advocates for competitive digital markets within Europe, how he got into politics in the first place and why he thinks broad political participation is important, especially now. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to ask him questions on these topics!
Then we will continue with a panel discussion in which Frances Noltekuhlemann (lead candidate Volt NRW for the 2025 federal elections), Felix Bünning (co-founder of viboo) and Anja Reimann (expert on research, innovation, and international entrepreneurship) will talk about their perspectives and visions on an innovative economy. Among other things, we will find out why some founders prefer to set up in Switzerland and what Volt would like to change to make Germany and the EU more popular as a place to set up a business. The discussion will be moderated by Franziska Weber (direct candidate Cologne III & state list).
You will also have the opportunity to ask questions to our panel!
The first part of the event will be held in English. However, questions can also be asked in German. The panel discussion in the second part will be in German, but questions from the audience can also be asked in English.
We are looking forward to exciting discussions about the Digital Economy, Innovation and Competition!
