This event is for Volt members only

In this event, we will discuss topics related to workers' rights in the context of cooperatives and the social economy more broadly. Discussion may also touch upon the development, in terms of skills and education, of workers as well as the challenges that the cooperative model may face.

You can join the event in person in Brussels, Belgium, or join online via the Volt Europa channel on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqvK7Ndse7A

Keep in mind that by signing up for the in-person event, you are agreeing to be filmed and appear on camera as part of the online broadcast.

The event spans 2 hours. The first part is a short introduction of Volt followed by an introduction of the cooperatives model, held by George Necula, Volt Europa's policy shaper on employment.

The second part is a panel discussion with:

Hannes Hollebecq, cooperative entrepreneurship advisor for CERA
Eike Schultz, Volt Europa's policy shaper on Technology & Automation
Pascale Zoetaert, Policy Advisor on EU & International Affairs for ConcertES.

With other panelists to be confirmed!

You will also have the opportunity to ask questions to our panel online via chat or if you attend the event in person. We will also try to make time for the option to ask the speakers your questions. For those who attend in person, you will also have the opportunity to (informally) share your thoughts with the rest of the audience after the Q&A session.
