On the 200th anniversary of his death, the Sing-Akademie and the gentlemen of the Staats- und Domchor conjure up Carl Maria von Weber's romantic ghostly spheres. What do the hellish visions from Biedermeier miniatures tell us about our present day with its ghostly machines and revenants of ideologies believed to be dead? The programme includes overtures, arias and unknown choruses by the ‘father of the Romantic school’, answered by modern and contemporary ghost music by Jani Christou, Harald Muenz and others.
