The Camp

The destination of our trip is the small coastal town of Moliets-Plage, approx. 150km southwest of Bordeaux. Our surf camp is located at the "Les Cigales" campsite, nestled in a pine forest just 700m from the beach and the town center.

Moliets-Plage has direct access to Hossegor and Biarritz, the surfing hotspots of Europe. Along the beach promenade, you will find restaurants, cafés, bike rentals, surf shops and a supermarket.

The campsite offers everything you need: clean sanitary facilities, BBQ areas, a multi-sport field, a beach volleyball court, table tennis, foosball, slacklines, balance boards, a mini ramp, a washing machine, Wi-Fi (subject to a fee), safes (subject to a fee), and a small supermarket with a bakery. Additionally, a TV lounge and a chill-out area with hammocks invite you to relax. Various balls, table tennis paddles, parasols, skateboards/longboards, etc., can be borrowed free of charge (subject to availability).

The team also offers a diverse program for variety: this includes beach olympiads, skating, beach volleyball tournaments, guitar sessions, workshops, beach clean-ups, and movie nights. Participation is, of course, optional.

One day, we will visit the city of San Sebastián. In the morning, we will take the bus to Spain, where you have the choice: either explore the city's sights with the team or stroll through the numerous shops on your own. In the evening, we will end the day together in a relaxed atmosphere before heading back to camp.

Accommodation at the campsite is in tents with sleeping mats (sleeping bag/blanket, pillow, and covers must be brought by yourself), two people per tent with individual sleeping compartments.

Surf Course

The surf camp provides professional surf lessons for both beginners and advanced surfers, recognized by the German Surfing Federation (DWV). The courses include 5 x 1.5 hours of actual water time, plus 2.5 hours of introduction and theory.

The surf team consists of licensed coaches (ISA, DWV, SLSGB), all of whom are also trained beach lifeguards. The coaching ratio is a maximum of 1:8, often 2:8, supported by surf assistants. To reduce the risk of injury, softboards are used as training boards.

Boards and wetsuits are provided for the duration of the course. Beginners can use the equipment independently after the 3rd day of the course for an additional fee if they have mastered the safety rules; advanced surfers can do so from the 1st day.

Meals

In the morning, there is a rich breakfast buffet with the option to pack a lunch for the beach. In the evening, a warm dinner is served with fresh salad and dessert.

Vegetarian and vegan options are available at no extra charge. Allergens are always labeled; however, specific intolerances unfortunately cannot be accommodated. For an extra €30 per person per week, gluten-free catering is offered (only for gluten sensitivity, not suitable for celiac disease).

Arrival and Departure (Coach)

Arrival: Departure Friday, July 24th, 2026, from Stuttgart Airport, presumably in the afternoon (more details to follow). Arrival at the camp Saturday morning, July 25th, 2026.

Departure: Departure from the camp Saturday, August 1st, 2026, around 8:00 PM. Arrival in Stuttgart during the day on Sunday, August 2nd, 2026.

Travel Protection & Insurance

Travel cancellation and trip interruption insurance (holiday guarantee) is included for all participants through the tour operator. However, each participant is responsible for their own international health, accident, and liability insurance (including coverage for water sport risks abroad).

Price

For a total of €679, everything is included: round-trip travel, accommodation, meals (extended half board), surf course + surfboard and wetsuit rental, camp activities, a day trip to San Sebastián, as well as travel cancellation and trip interruption insurance.

We also charge an additional security deposit of €100 in case of unpredictable extra costs, property damage to the accommodation, or additional charges from the campsite (e.g., due to insufficient final cleaning).
