Release 3.2.0 of pretix

Today, we are releasing pretix 3.2.0. This release includes a bunch of small features and bugfixes. Big thanks go to Chris Spy, Fabian Rodriguez, Gianmarco Palumbo, Johannes Lauinger, Jonathan Oberländer, Maarten van den Berg, Serge Bazanski, and Sohalt who contributed to this release. ❤️

pretix 3.2.0 is now available for installation via pip. The new docker images will appear on Docker Hub over the next few hours. All customers of pretix Hosted are already using the new version and do not need to take any action.

Auto check-in

When configuring check-in lists, you can now select that orders from specific sales channels will automatically be marked as checked in when they are placed.

This is most useful when you sell tickets through pretixPOS without scanning them again and want them to be marked as checked in immediately.

Smaller changes and bugfixes

  • Danish language can now be selected in production builds.

  • Name and address fields during checkout now carry propert autocomplete HTML attributes to guide browser when autofilling their contents.

  • When changing order information, the name can now be edited even if names are the only part of the invoice address that users are asked for.

  • E-mail attachments have been reverted to multipart/related MIME type to prevent issues on iOS devices.

  • In Docker installations, pretix is now installed into the system packages, allowing the installation of recent plugins.

  • A bug has been fixed that lead to incorrect data output in the tax list exporter.

  • A "resend link" button has been added to all individual tickets in the backend.

  • A crash in the Dekodi exporter has been fixed.

  • When changing an order in the backend, multiple new products can now be added in one transaction.

  • When changing an order in the backend, issuance of a new invoice is now optional.

  • Various bugs in the Stripe plugin's webhook handler have been fixed.

  • The list of voucher tags can now be filtered by date in an event series.

  • A race condition when changing shop design parameters has been fixed.

  • Copying vouchers, categories and quotas is now possible.

  • A list of words that should not occur in order codes has been added.

  • The domain association file for Apple Pay via Stripe has been updated, thus fixing Apple Pay for domains created since september.

  • The performance of the list of check-in lists has been improved.

  • During PDF rendering, add-on products now inherit question answers of the base products.

  • When creating a voucher, the voucher code in the success message is now a link allowing to edit the voucher again.

  • When creating teams or devices, the list of events is now ordered by date and shows more specific information.

  • The event list on the organizer page in the backend is now paginated.

  • When clicking "Create a new event" on an organizer page, the organizer is now pre-selected.

  • Widgets on the global dashboard are now being loaded asynchronously as well.

  • Sorting of questions, categories, and items across page boundaries is now possible.

  • In development mode, pretix' favicon is now red.
